Jelly Bars1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 jar jelly
1/4 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped walnuts Mix the 1 1/2 cups flour, margarine and the 1/3 cup brown sugar. Press into 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-20 minutes. Spread a jar of jelly over it. Mix the 1/4 cup flour, the 1 cup brown sugar, eggs, salt and baking powder. Spread over jelly. Top with chopped walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-20 minutes. Makes 24 bars.
